Founded in 2002, Back Yard Dream (BYD) is the creation of builder Jerry Ponzo and has become the premier provider of outdoor environments in Northern California. We really mean it when we say, “We want you to experience your own personal paradise in your back yard.”
Within 12 months of forming BYD Jerry assembled a construction process that would change the way non-bearing masonry structures are designed and constructed.
His unique construction process attracted support from a Fortune 500 company that partnered with him with an entry in the Northern California Builders Association Show in 2005 where Jerry’s construction process was entered in four of the five homes.
AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
Enviro Building products won ‘Best of the Show” in the Outdoor Living landscape category in homes valued $4M to $6M in 2006, and Jerry’s building method was showcased again in the 2006 Street of Dreams show wining the Outdoor Living / Landscape “Best of Show.”
